Welcome to the first newsletter for all the founder members of the Brize Ideas Team!

I wanted to give you a little update on our progress in the last few weeks and offer up some opportunities to you all.

Website -  It’s official we are now online. The brand new e50K website was launched on Friday and its a beauty. Please do check it out and let us know what you think! 

Community Outreach - Our campaign to hear the voices of the Brize Community (and the wider armed forces) has now kicked off. We are pushing hard in all the social media groups to try and get the word out. If you feel you could help us with this push we would be incredibly grateful. Especially if you’d be happy to speak to or email the local schools and groups. If you need my help with this my number and email are attached at the bottom.

Partnerships - We are growing our national partnerships with organisations like Winchester University who might be offering free accredited courses to military families and The Inspiration Space to develop enterprising communities. Locally we are seeking to build our network and have gotten off to a great start with OXLEP who are very supportive of our plans. We have been encouraged to put in a grant bid with them to support our portal build and are looking forward to hearing the result soon.

Recruitment - The team is growing at pace. We have just brought on an Executive Administrator and appointed our first Ambassador. I am just about to start recruiting for a community guru to help with the Brize test case build. Like all our roles it will initially be pro-Bono but will develop into a paid roll. If any of you are interested in joining our team or know somebody who might be please do let me know.

What’s Next:

Focus Groups - Once we have the survey moving at pace we will be setting up the focus groups from May. I will be sending out an email next week with sign up information

Oxfordshire Business Development - Over the coming months we will be expanding our business, non-profit and local government engagement across Oxfordshire. This we hope will establish a number of partnerships that will benefit the community.

Vision Boards - I’m putting the final touches together for how we can offer this exclusive opportunity to you all and I will be emailing the sign up details next week.
